If you choose to donate without an Altruity User Account, then we suggest entering the email address you would use for your user account. That way, when you're ready to create a user account all of your previous Altruity donations will automatically populate in your Giving History.

You can use our Mission Tiles to refine your search, or use the Advanced Search to locate the exact charity you want to support. We have tens of thousands to choose from, across the entire spectrum of missions.

There's no need to visit different charity websites to support the missions you love. The Altruity Gift Basket allows you to make a greater impact with one transaction!

You can choose to donate to up to ten charities and we will split your gift as you've indicated. Each charity gets your support, you only enter information once, and we do all the heavy lifting.

In general, your charity will receive your donation within 30 days. Please visit our Fundraising Disclosures for more detailed information.

Altruity donation processing fees are better than the industry average of 11%. We deliver 92% of the average Altruity gift to each charity and they don't have to spend a dime! Your Altruity gifts allow your favorite charities to dedicate more time to their mission.

You have the option to add the fees on top of your gift so that your charity receives the full amount, or have them deducted from the gift amount. Either way, the processing fees are tax-deductible for you.

We have hired Stripe, the industry leader, to securely process your donation payment. At no time does Altruity, our staff, or the Foundation have access to any of your credit card information. Your payment information is encrypted and then securely sent to Stripe's system for processing. We do not store your credit card information in our system.

Click on one of the many "SIGN IN" or "SIGN UP" buttons you see on our site. Enter your valid email address, name and a password in our secure Sign Up page. Altruity will then send you an email with a button to confirm that you own the email address (check your Spam folder if you can't find it). Once you authenticate your email address, you'll be able to sign-in with the email address and your password.

Enter your email address on the Sign Up page and click Continue. You'll then see a "Forgot password?" link that you can use to reset your password. An email will be sent that provides instructions.

We provide all of the great tools and features that come with a user account at no cost to you.

We do not share your personal information with anyone, except for the following:

• Our card payment processor receives your name and billing zip code.
• If you so choose, we will send your name and email address to the charity(s), to whom you donate.

Sign-in to your account and scroll down to the "Your Impact and Giving Goals" section. Altruity provides two ways to set your giving goals:

1. The Altruity Giving Goal Wizard asks you three simple questions and will generate you a goal that aligns with your specific income & tax situation, plus aligns with the annual amount others give at your income level.
2. You can choose to enter your own goal.

Either way, Altruity will display your progress towards your goal, display your impact from last year, and your lifetime impact.

You can edit your giving goal by using either of the features listed above.

Sign-in to your Altruity account and scroll down to the "Your Altruity Donation History" section.

Click on the "View Receipt" link next to each gift to print each gift receipt.

The Altruity Outside Giving Log allows you to record all of the gifts you make outside of Altruity in one place. You can later download all of them, plus your Altruity donations, for tax time.

Sign-in to your Altruity account and scroll down to the "Your Outside Giving Log" section. Click on the + icon to launch the gift entry form. You can choose to log one-time or recurring gifts that were processed elsewhere. You can even upload your gift receipt for secure storage so that you can download or print when you need to.

After creating an outside gift; you can use the pencil, delete, and download icons to manage your outside giving history.

Sign-in to your Altruity account and scroll down to the "Your Altruity Donation History" or the "Your Outside Giving Log" sections. Click on "Download" at the upper-right of the section to download a full list of your giving from the current year or last year.

The downloaded file combines the gifts you made in Altruity, plus those that you've made outside of Altruity and recorded in the "Your Outside Giving Log" section.

Olithan Solutions partners with a number of for-profit and nonprofit organizations to provide you Altruity, an easy and secure site to support your favorite charities and manage all of your donations.

Olithan Solutions is a registered professional fundraiser with operations in all 50 United States, and is a contracted professional fundraiser for the Altruity Foundation (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization).

When you make a donation, you are donating to the Altruity Foundation (ID 84-5177659), a Delaware nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Altruity Foundation’s mission is to promote online charitable giving utilizing innovative technology that makes it easier for individuals to support their preferred charities, and to positively impact these charities through the disbursement of charitable grants. Your gift to the Altruity Foundation is restricted to disbursement to other charitable organizations, which you designate.

Your donation is processed securely through the Altruity™ platform, the gift amount is deposited directly to the Altruity Foundation’s bank account, and then the Altruity Foundation grants the net proceeds to the charity you have designated in your donation.

The Altruity Foundation is a registered charity in all 50 United States. This means that where required, the organization is registered with the Attorney General or Secretary of State, in the State where you live. Please visit our Regulatory Compliance page to verify our registration.

Your Impact and Our Fundraising Efficiency:

Your gift makes a bigger impact with Altruity because we process hundreds of thousands of individual donations in a cost-efficient manner, which allows charities to use more of  their time and resources on executing their mission.

Fundraising Efficiency is a nonprofit industry metric that indicates the percentage of each dollar raised after deducting the costs to raise that dollar. The industry average is 89%, but with Altruity the average Fundraising Efficiency is 92%. This means that more of your gift is put directly to the mission, even when compared to donating directly to that charity.
